Theatre seats are the chairs that are in the movie houses that people sit in for two and three hours at a time. The chairs are fairly cozy because people sit in them without complaining for hours on end. Theatre seats could be used to replace the seating in some other establishments and make the people that go to those places more comfy. Theatre seats could be used to replace pews in churches and synagogues. Pews are hard wooden benches that occasionally have a small amount of padding on the seat.
If theatre seats were to be put into the church instead of pews people could sit down and get comfortable while they listened to the preacher talk on the word of God. The problem is that people have a aptness to fall asleep in church. They doze off while sitting on those uncomfortable pews. If they had comfortable chairs more people would likely sleep through the preaching. Airport waiting rooms have some of the most uncomfortable plastic furniture that was ever designed. No one has ever waited in an airport for more than one hour and left thinking that the waiting room furniture was comfortable. It is usually either too short or it is not padded enough. There is rarely enough places for everyone to sit down when planes are delayed.
Airports could have more chairs for people to sit in if they installed the row seating like what is used in movie theaters. They could also furnish their passengers with a place to sit and wait that was not uncomfortable. The passengers would be calmer and less likely to fuss if the place they had for waiting was more comfortable. Bus stations generally have seats that remind you of the church house pews. Replacing the long wooden benches of the majority of bus terminals with the relaxing chairs that are used in cinema complexes would give passengers a place to wait that did not cause them any anguish.
These types of seats could be used in auditoriums and city entertainment centers. During graduation ceremonies at high school auditoriums the parents have to sit for more than two hours. These parents are generally seated in hard chairs that are extremely uncomfortable. The installation of padded chairs that fold would allow the parents to have places to sit that were comfortable. Civic centers can use these row seats to place more seats in the space they have. Then local pageants and plays could have larger audiences in attendance. The size of the hall you have for a performer dictates the availability of some performers. You need to be able to have a good sized crowd in order to get big names to come perform in your town. Having plenty of comfortable chairs would encourage the public to attend.
